Hurting or sore? You probably need to ice it for 15 minutes at a time, a few times today. As for cause--you do a LOT of exercise, Julie! Not sure I can pinpoint it. I personally have some lower back discomfort when I log a lot of miles running, so I guess it could be that. The overhead squats we did on Wednesday were something new for you--that may have been the problem. I would ice and REST today--I know that will kill you to do--but you probably need a break.
